Central Capital Management Fund LP

In late 2008, Central Capital Management launched its first private investment fund – the Central Capital Regional Fund LP.

Central Capital Management is currently in the process of raising a maximum of $50 million by final close. Investor funds are being invested principally in high growth companies based in the Central North Island, outside of metropolitan Auckland and Wellington.

The management team fully believes in the potential of the fund to achieve a leading private equity position in regional New Zealand and each of the co-founders – John Birch and Gary Mollard - are personally backing the fund as investors. Both have independently committed (through their associated entities) a minimum of $2 million each, and collectively up to a maximum of 10% in aggregate of the total capital of the fund at final close.

Where required, Central Capital Management, through its network of investment partners, business associates, customers, suppliers and advisers, will introduce key people to the fund’s portfolio companies who can add expertise and skills to progress each of the companies’ growth objectives.
